Teona Muzashvili holds an academic position of Affiliated Assistant of Pathology  at Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA) since 2019.
In 2015 she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University.  Currently she is enrolled  in a  PhD programme at the same university and serves as a pathologist at the teaching-research and diagnostic laboratory. 
Teona Muzashvili is actively involved in scientific-research activities. In terms of professional development,  she participates actively within national and international conferences, trainings and various workshops.
