Natela Gogitidze is an Associated Professor of Pharmacology at Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA) since 2012.
Natela Gogitidze graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Tbilisi State University in 1974. In 1991 she was awarded with a PhD in Biology.
She has an impressive 47-years of professional experience. Currently she is a researcher at the Department of Pre-Clinical Pharmacological Research of I. Kutateladze Institute of Pharmaco-chemistry.
The field of his scientific research is expanding to the study and analysis of pharmacological activities for natural, modified and synthetic compounds; as well as pharmaceutical product safety assessment.
N. Gogitidze is one of the developers behind widely used pharmaceutical products, such as “Sinuforte” – used for treatment of sinusitis and ear inflammations and “Lazolex” – which in its’ turn is an antiviral and antifungal drug.
Throughout her career she has published around 50 scientific works and has obtained 2 patents.
