Since 2014, Leonide Tokhadze serves as a Professor of Surgery (Vascular Surgery) at Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA). 
Leonide Tokhadze graduated from the Tbilisi State Medical Institute in 1981. Later he continued professional development and completed a clinical internship at the Department of General Surgery during 1981-1982. In 1997 he was awarded with the title of  scientific-research title of an Associate Professor in General Surgery.
Leonide Tokhadze has 38 years of clinical experience. In terms of professional development, he actively attends both local and international conferences.
Leonide Tokhadze is awarded with the prestigious Medal of Honor of Georgia.
