Since 2012 Anzor Melia holds the position of Professor for Internal Diseases at Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA).
Anzor Melia graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at I.Sechinov First Moscow State Medical Institute. In 1987 he was awarded with a Degree of Candidate for Medical Sciences by the Bakulev Cardiovascular Institute of USSR Academy of Medical Sciences.
From 1996 onwards,  he is the founder and Director of Cardiology Clinic “Guli”, which was established in the same year.  
Anzor Melia is awarded with a Medal of Honor.
