Tamar Khutrsilava is elected to the academic position of an Associated Professor towards direction of Global Health at the School of Public Health of Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA) since 2020.
In 2008 she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University in 2008. Following graduation, she was employed in the field of health insurance. In 2011 she continued education in Great Britain, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Health at the London Metropolitan University.
Following her return to Georgia, she continued to work at the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia towards the direction of primary healthcare. From 2015 onwards, she was appointed as the general manager of “IQ Clinic”, where she holds the same position at the moment. Tamar Khurtsilava is actively involved in various research initiatives and projects.
