The IX Eurasian Congress of Dermatology and Cosmetology was hosted by Nazarbayev University (Astana, Kazakhstan). At the personal invitation of the President of the Kazakhstan Dermatological Society, the Dean of the School of Medicine of the Tbilisi Medical Academy, Professor Lali Mekokishvili, participated in the congress as a plenary speaker. She shared her modern vision and personal experience with her colleagues regarding the diagnosis and treatment of skin hyperpigmentation.

The forum was attended by leading specialists from more than 20 countries worldwide. Meetings were held with representatives of various universities within the framework of the congress. As a result of the meetings, it was planned to establish partnership relations between the Academy and Nazarbayev University.
